Labor Day

"Traditionally, Labor Day is celebrated by most Americans
as the symbolic end of the summer."
--Wikipedia

No names or landmarks... natch, bro.

surly types in those parts...surprised you got any shots off.

Chum said...

Wait... how did YOU know where I was, Anon? Am I being followed?

Landmarks aside theres only one right that throws like that. Pretty sneaky sis. So did you paddle out or just snap it and run?

I guess since there are no names and landmarks that means you won't be dropping info on all your "dedicated readers" that pm you right? How about keeping the photos to a minimum when you visit others home spots to avoid letting the word out.

Believe it or not, I did paddle out and catch a few good ones.

And believe it or not, I actually don't have anybody PMing me for spot names. The only time that happened was when I was in Mexico.

As I've tried to make clear, I will definitely respect the spots and the people who love them by not naming names, nor sending out the word via the coconut wireless.

If you are a local at this locale, thanks for sharing some waves yesterday.

If you can recognize the spot by the way it throws, then you probably already know how good it gets, so a picture without names or landmarks doesn't let much out of the bag, does it?

Aloha.

A labor day like that makes all the rest of the labor worth it. OS and I are heading out today to try and find some more of the same - fingers crossed.

Lesson learned.

That spots no secret and it's obvious were it is if your not a "seasonal" surfer like many in the NW. In the future don't post photos. Better yet take it off of your blog. No Respect because this is not cool.

It's not a secret spot. It breaks like that all the time, you just gotta be into a hike.

Anonymous said...

Who are you to say not to post a picture? Give me a break.

Too funny. If you just kept your post to yourselves and simply enjoyed the pics no one would be the wiser.

The Funny thing is.... is that none of you know where this really is. I think the spot most of you are thinking of only has a vantage point high from the North, not the South (as seen in 2 of the pictures). Right?
