Saturday Secret Session
Saturday was amazing. Reports from up and down the coast made it sound like spots were lighting up like firecrackers on the Fourth. We were pretty happy with our early morning decision, as you can see from the shot above. Nice being the only ones in the water (for a few hours) on days like this. Sorry I couldn't crop out the landmark, though. I hope I'm not giving anything away, but then again, most of you can probably tell where this is by the way the wave is breaking. But if you can tell where it is by the way it's breaking, then you already know the spot. But if you already know the spot, then why would you care about a picture that doesn't name it? Wait. I'm confused.

Doesn't matter where it was b/c friday was better... not that I'm trying to rub it in or anything...
I ran into Ian and Gabe afterwards on Sat for a nice little skate sesh at the Nehalem U-pipe.
That pic looks photoshopped...
You seem a bit over affected by anon comments chum...imo
If I knew where that was I'd be pissed....
Hilarious Chum. Well done!

@ Anon: I still let anonymous douchies post comments here, so they're really not that annoying (yet).
@ Pete: Shoulda been there yesterday, I guess. Sounds like you guys had a pretty great weekend!
@ Scott: Thanks for coming by and naming the break. If you knew where I was, then you had to have been there, which narrows you down to about 3 people (two of whom I went with). PDX surfers getting sensitive about pics... yet another head-scratcher.
Did I mention the fact that this spot was totally unidentifiable until part-time troll "scott" came back by? just checking.
I hate it when Lady Liberty poaches the inside.
Oregon
Its pretty but the waves are shitty
Simple truth
no matter how you wrap it...
still a shit sandwich
I been getting fat on those sandwiches for years...
Umm, that's a photoshop. The wave at the SOL breaks right. Just thought you'd like to know.

don't know why the fuss. If this is the best picture you can show, as far as I can tell... this spot sucks, and the surfer on the wave does too. Please, keep it secret, no one cares.
Or, maybe you can start to post decent pictures, with a decent surfer, and keep the ego/localism BS down to let us judge.
Cheers, and keep the good spirit in the surf.
no one cares about your so called beaver secrets...
the only people that surf in duckville are desperate and when your desperate shit looks tasty.
blow the secrets it will make no difference...
10 foot tide swings... sounds fun...
USC didn't care about Beaver secrets either, until last night.
And yes, that spot does suck.
My great-grandparents surfed that spot when they were chased out by the Cossacks from their home break.
Nice skating with you FP. We'll have to hit BC next time. Whoops, I guess I shouldn't mention spot names....
Hey Sissy that one guy was right keep the good spirits alive... wow ur head must be swelling with all these comments ego-trippin... any way the wave looks like fun but tell the rider to stand up and go faster ha ha any I love surfing in OR here in our great state... it always is funny how Portland surfers/people have the hardest time and the worst vibes in the water must be a city thing always worrying about what people think about them just relax and ride your new fangled $800 board God loves you any way so and enjoy Being...
Not sure why you deleted my last post? Whats up with that??
I deleted your post? I only deleted the one that named the spot. And then I deleted the one that said he'd keep naming spots. Was that you?
Uhh maybe it never posted up. darn that word verification. Here it goes again
After the first sh*t storm a while back I was flippin through an Outside magazine and came accross a large "Visit the Oregon Coast" ad. Fairly amusing given the comments and what not I had seen here. Let me describe: Two heavily neoprened folks walk down a gulch like trail toward a close-out beach break that looks a bit tricky at best. Best part is that they are both carrying their boards a top their heads wax side down! They were not longboards. The one in back was a KG twin fin fish and the other a fairly standard thruster.
So Chum are you behind this devious ad campaign as well? ;-)
