It was a great first day back.
A couple guys got the shack.
The lefts made my lips go smack.
And as you can see, the rights didn't lack.
But it was a full-on walrus attack.
And those old dudes weren't afraid to hack.
And my wetsuit's zipper breaking was wack.

New Matuse? They replaced my zipper for free with the new 2010 version. thing is bombproof now!

too bad the waves weren't good enough to sweeten some sour 'tudes. "beat it kook"...blah.
no kidding. there were like 5 logs on each wave for the first couple hours. A bunch of fake-go-right-go-lefts and fade take-offs to clear out the shorter boards. I accidentally dropped in, but immediately kicked out when the guy called me off, didn't get close to getting his way, and some dude sitting outside in the peanut gallery thought it was his place to chew me out.
had to smile when the next set wave had like six longboarders dropping in on each other. at its most crowded point it was really kind of a nightmare... testament to how good it really was I guess.
Doesn't anybody watch football anymore?
