White on White

My new board just made an appearance on The Swallowtail Society yesterday. As with anything Manuel Caro makes, it looks like pure magic. I shudder to think of the ledges this will inspire me to throw myself over.

6'7" Mandala Round Pin Quad
20" x 2.5"
Lokbox AK4 fins
Tapered red cedar stringer
Moonlight Glassing
Clear, wet-sanded gloss (So CORE!)

Thanks to all who contributed to last year's birthday board fund, and to Manny, who's a great guy and an amazing shaper.

You know I like white. Hopefully mother nature gives you a couple chances to test it out before spring. Those dims should give your small frame plenty to plane on though.

I think Slim means mother May-ture.

Yeah. I think the dims are right.

I need to cut back, or at least release a few boards back into the collective Oregon surfboard riding community... Anybody want a Hammer or McCoy?

This "Birthday Board Fund" thing is kind of ridiculous. Kick in $50 each for all your surfing friends birthdays, and they kick it back to you. Then your non-surfing family members jump into the mix and... voila! One big present every year.

G's b-day is this weekend and I know he's already got a new singlefin in mind. What goes around comes around.
