^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ REMINDER

Sometimes things wash up on shore...

Old plastic bottles,
Broken pieces of styrofoam,
Wal-Mart bags,
Kelp bull-whips,
Half-burnt tree stumps,
Japanese glass buoys,
Piles of stinky jellyfish,
Dead seals.

...Things that put the Oregon surf experience in perspective.

Pardon my ignorance. I know that's a shark. Is that a Great White Shark? Damn!

I pulled this pic off of Magic Seaweed from Lincoln City, OR. I'm pretty sure it's a great white. Dims? I don't think it's very big, judging from the camera angle, unless whoever took the shot was standing on a ledge or crane. Nice flex fin though.

I've recently heard stories of baby sharks being beached and Oregon surfers dragging them back into the water to improve their karma... Right, Gaz?

Salmon shark from awhile back no? Notice a big chunk of the fin is missing. I guess that has been happeneing along with teeth being taken. F*ckin vultures.

Sharks are like elephants, with incredible long term memories. The little 3 footer I pulled off the beach and revived in the water, might come back as a very benign 12 footer! That's the theory I'm holding to anyway..............;-).

So, I don't actually believe this will work.
