Flat Spell

Sissyfish is in the throes of a flat spell. I've been distracted by work. The kind of work that grabs you by the ear and twists until you can only concentrate on one thing: Finishing the work. Luckily though, I have three things that get me through it:

1. It is truly flat out there (see picture above of a sinking logger from last session).
2. My surfboard is getting closer to being finished every day (right, Moonlighters?).
3. I just booked 3 weeks in Nica an hour ago (Playa Colorado for 2 weeks, Maderas for 1).

So please excuse my flatness. I'm sure it'll pick up very soon.

Now I'm the jealous one. I'm craving a Victoria and plantains now. Have fun.

PS I could squeak out some fun on that little wave posted...

So dry...haven't seen the water for 2 weeks. Looks like we have some swell coming though. Let's keep our fingers crossed and roll out together. I haven't surfed with you for ages.

I got little sympathy for you. Nica for 3 weeks. Meanwhile, I'm on ice down here.

I got me a bomb sniffing dog. No bombs yesterday, but he did bury his nose into some well hidden firecrackers and I scored while others lulled in the flats!

It's been flat here for weeks. Getting a bit jumpy. There's swell today and the wind is all wrong and working for a living sucks.

Flat spell will be over soon, but don't wish to hard. 6 @ 8 building to 13 @ 12 Sat night (looking a bit raw from the models) Pull out ya guns or run for cover!

Be one of those weekends where it's knee high on Sat and double overhead on Sun. I'll be hunting muy temprano.

Chum you bum. Sounds like you made a good call on the acomo's. You can see daily surf report here to get the stoke floooooowing.

Looks like Saturday's the next chance I'll have to get salted. Hopefully there will be a window where it's 7 ft at 12 secs and offshore!

Kinda like the surf report in Nica right now... THANKS DUB!
