Memory Trigger 4

Sunburn peeling
Ear infection no more
Mosquito bites scabbed over (all 80 of 'em)
Sore muscles gone
Jellyfish sting fading
Ribs softening up
Rashes a thing of the past

But the memories are still strong.

Hey, Love your blog. Lots of fun reading and following your adventure. I just moved to Bend from so cal. maybe we could connect and surf?

Stoked, Hans! A good friend of mine recently moved to Bend from Santa Cruz. He comes out to surf every once in a while (but not often enough Ebb, if you're reading this!). We may be able to hook up a carpool!

that would be great! I am planning on making the journey for a day trip not this saturday but next.maybe that could work. I have heard good things about boyscout camp.

what boyscout camp? ;-)

Hans, I suggest you try out Pacific City. There are lots of false rumors about spots up here that don't exist.

Weird, I've met a few Bend Surfers at the spot in question that doesn't exist. Isn't Agate closer...?

And one of them droped in on me. Should be going off, not this Saturday, but next. Hint, 2 letters, PC, epic bars bra. It's where Gerry goes and he lives in Bend. Good luck-

Hans

I was just playing man. I have met a few Bend surfers around the PC area though. Takes some dedication to surf where you live. Don't let my bad attempts at humor ruin your view of Chum's fine blog...

Thanks, FP. Yeah, for a second I thought everyone was drinking from the same Haterade bowl.

Ah Chum we were just kidding, you know that. Just giving the kid some advice seriously, common what are the chances? I agree with FW, Bend's a long way from the surf (& so is PDX), but a great place to be a snowboarder.

Point taken! Well, not THE Point, but I'm sure Hans got the drift... By the way, I was surfing in Nica with a dude from SF and the first spot he asked me about was the very same spot that doesn't actually exist - and he's never even been to Oregon...

Chum said...

Of course I denied that it existed!

You guys are funny and I know you like to go there and all, but everyone knows about that spot. Ever read the Stormrider guide or Transword surf. I always laugh at the amount of people that go there considering it never works anymore. Shoulda been surfing 10 years ago.

Hasn't worked since 2001. It won't work again due to the great landslide of 2002 either... not worth the walk. Try Agate.
