Skate, Don't Hate

This is my new skateboard.

I bought it in Santa Cruz.

Is 33 too old to start skating again?

That's like asking if 30 is too old to pick up surfing.

I say no.

I'm 36 and I bought a skateboard a couple of months ago.
Ever since, I suffer from a painful tendinitis on my right Achilles tendon.
Pick up good shoes, don't forget to warm up, don't skate too much at teh beginning and you'll avoid that...hoppefully

I picked up skating again at 30 and was hitting up skateparks weekly. I then switched to BMX at age 35. Hell no, it's never too late.

Good to see there are more peeps out there willing to break their fragile old bones on concrete.

Now we just need to build the ramp so you can shred away those graphics and truly be lovin' everyday.

That's pretty great. I have to get pads and wristers and all that crap before I start dropping in on half pipes. It's enough of a challenge just to ollie a curb.

If you surf and you live inland. There is no excuse not to skate. Good on ya!

When is Ian going to have that mini 1/2 pipe going?
The sooner it's up, the sooner you're going to start rippin'!
